Privacy Policy
Last updated May 2026
This policy explains what Rayven collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written plainly on purpose. A বাংলা version is available in the app.
Who is responsible for the data
For a shop's own business records — its products, customers and invoices — the shopkeeper is the data controller and Rayven is the processor: we store and protect that data on the shop's behalf and act on its instructions. For the account that signs up (name, email), Rayven is the controller.
What we collect
- Account data — your name, email, and authentication details, so you can sign in securely.
- Shop data — products, customers, invoices and settings you enter to run your shop.
- Sensitive data — for pharmacies, prescription records. This is the highest protection class and is restricted to the shop owner and managers.
- Operational logs — security-relevant events (sign-ins, role changes, financial edits) for your protection.
Why we collect it
Only to provide the service: to run your shop, secure your account, and show you your own reports. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Data is stored with our infrastructure provider in the Singapore region, encrypted in transit and at rest. Each shop's data is isolated from every other shop at the database level.
Your rights
- Export— download your shop's data at any time.
- Erasure — delete a customer record or your entire shop, subject to financial-record retention rules we will explain at the time.
- Correction — edit any record directly in the app.
Retention
Shop data is kept while your account is active. Deleted records are recoverable for a short window, then permanently purged. Sensitive health data has a shorter default retention.
